As a part of our Savory Technical Operations team reporting to the Operations Excellence Manager within the Carol Stream, Illinois manufacturing facility, you will contribute to process improvements technical troubleshooting and resolution. You will lead new product introduction and shop floor process technology improvement programs to drive quality and efficiency and customer satisfaction at site level. Influence: Use your understanding of relevant quality and creation processes including life cycle management, customer requirements, document management, continuous improvement, complaint handling, audit processes, change management to identify and promote opportunities to improve performance, customer satisfaction, yield, and reduce scrap. Lead problem solving teams. Strong focus on cost reduction, and quality and efficiency improvement. Collaborate: Use your experience with order fulfillment, brief management, Regulatory and innovation processes to work with stakeholders including quality and safety to ensure alignment to all policies and requirements. Provide local training and audits adherence to established processes and procedures. Lead root cause and management of change meetings and tracks all action items. Provide local subject matter expertise to stakeholders on technical processes and improvements. Improve: Use your understanding of manufacturing technologies and product characteristics (such as liquids, spray drying, powder blending, process Flavors), relevant to assigned area of activity. Trouble shoot non-conformances. Solid understanding of quality and consumer goods industrialization processes to be able to lead local operational technology improvement and optimization projects using statistical analysis to process data and analyze trends. Your professional profile includes: Degree in engineering, preferably chemical or material; or science related degree. LEAN and Six Sigma Knowledge. 3+ years of experience in food related manufacturing with Basic understanding of Food Safety and Quality Systems (such as FSSC, AIB, ISO, GMP, GHP, HACCP) that are relevant to function. (co-op experience will be considered) Project management skills and utilization of the project management techniques. SAP experience highly preferred Good understanding of or prepared to learn relevant manufacturing processes, QIC and FC&A processes (such as Ingredient life cycle Mgmt, Vendor Quality, Customer Quality requirements, Specification and Formula management, Continuous improvement, Complaint, Issue and Crisis Mgmt, Industrialization, Audit and Change Management, relevant to job function).
