Reporting to the Quality Engineer, the requirements of this role are: Undertake product audits (before, during and post manufacture (VQ) and constantly monitor conformance to specification, raising awareness of quality issues and supporting Manufacturing as necessary to problem solve and correct. Undertake manufacturing process audits (e.g. plant set up sheets, and critical settings). Conduct material testing e.g. tear and tensile tests as necessary, recording and communicating results and conclusions. Responsible for controlling Non-Conforming material and VQ failures including identification, physical movement / control, electronic stock (AX) and accurate counting. Communicating all non-conformances to all internal interested parties. Support Laboratory & Quality Engineer in Non-Conforming Material and Customer Complaint investigations as necessary to identify root cause, containment and corrective action. Reporting to the Engineering |Supervisor, the candidate will carry out, according to competency and with minimum supervision, those tasks necessary to achieve the objective of engineering maintenance and installation in accordance with the site HSE standards and desired site reliability and technical including: Must demonstrate a fundamental understanding of his/her particular core skill area. Carry out engineering activities in a safe manner, utilising appropriate PPE as specified. Be involved in all safety initiatives, i.e. audits, incident reporting, shutdown safety initiative, etc including use and engagement in site permit work procedures. Carry out planned maintenance activities in order to facilitate the move from   breakdown to planned maintenance on site.
