Your next position?As a Continuous Improvement Leader in our Fragrance Division at Givaudan’s Singapore office, your role is to lead the execution of Continuous Improvement initiatives within a site in order to embed best practices, reinforce a continuous improvement mindset and streamline non-value added activities. You will report directly to the Operations Director and dotted line to Regional Center of Excellence CI Lead and your main responsibilities will be: (1) Strategy design and execution Contribute to the design of the local Continuous Improvement strategy and deployment plans for the assigned site based on global CI Road Map strategy. Design and execute of related projects to meet local Operations objectives. (2) Continuous Improvement management Identify and quantify improvements opportunities proactively together with site Operations teams, and use best tools/methods from the CI toolbox to develop solutions and execute these. Leverage internal and external Lean network to capture and eventually deploy best practices within the organization. Enable site to achieve CI maturity aspiration through Givaudan Continuous Improvement Maturity Assessment (CIMA) (3) Project Management Execute approved CI projects, monitoring resource plans, project team accountabilities, change requests, deadlines, milestones, etc. and providing periodic updates to project stakeholders. Lead Continuous Improvement projects assigned. Proactively identify and quantify improvement opportunities; develop action plans accordingly. Leads regular Continuous Improvement activities/events and coordinates the project's agenda and updates. Delivers results not only through coordination of others but also self (developer and implementer) Coach project teams on applying Lean and Six Sigma concepts and tools during solution design and project execution phases. Change management and Capability building. Support project managers in developing change management roadmaps and related communication strategies. Challenge existing processes/practices and coach project teams in applying effective problem solving to develop solutions and initiate change. Train site Operations teams on Lean principles to close capability gaps and promote a culture of continuous improvement. (4) Performance Management Support the implementation of Operational Improvement Plan (OIP) for the site and cascade its KPIs. You?Are you an ambitious, self-motivated individual? Your professional profile includes: University degree in Engineering or related discipline, with LEAN and Project management certification. 10 to 15 years of extensive experience in Operations & Supply Chain space with around 5 years in continuous improvement and 2-3 years of people management experience. Hands on, analytical and has lead and accomplished projects, with good track record for process improvement and company performance. Good command in stakeholder management and communications, with the ability to influence people Good knowledge of product processing and industrialization processes. Master Lean / Six Sigma tools & methodologies. Good knowledge of value chain diagnostics tools. Good knowledge of EHS rules and guidelines.
