Your Role and Responsibilities

• Being proficient in T-SQL queries, indexes, and DB I/O performance tuning
• Optimizing SQL code as necessary.
• Advanced troubleshooting and resolving report issues.
• Writing SQL code, extracting data and generating queries/reports without guidance, integrating data when necessary, between different data sources.
• Developing, Maintaining and Documenting SSIS Packages and Solutions.
• Designing and developing SSAS databases and OLAP Cubes.
• Understanding of data structure/integration and relational database design.
• Performing software and system testing procedures, bug verification, releasing testing, and beta support.
• Preparing documentation required for the product.
• Participating in design meetings and consulting with other staff to evaluate the interface between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of the overall system.
• Working directly with reporting team to ensure ongoing operational and new work complies with requirements and ETL best practices and audit standards.
• Generating traces, and execution plans, identifying performance issues, deadlocks/contention and in general, troubleshooting and resolving database issues.
• Maintaining database documentation as required.
• Monitoring and responds to MSSQL database alerts.

Qualifications

This role is meant for YOU if YOU:

• Have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Have at least 2 years of experience as a database developer in an SQL Server environment.
• Are Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently within a global security team.
• Have top-level English (both written and verbal).
• Are an EU Citizen.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• SAS (OLAP Cubes) design and implementation background.
• Experience in SSIS, SSAS and SSRS of MS SQL Server tools.
• Experience in developing/administering SQL Server 2016 databases and above (MSSQL 2019).
• Experience with T-SQL DDL and DML, SQL CLR integration, Service Broker integration, XML.
• Experienced in ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) development / data integration.
• Experience with MSSQL Always ON Availability Group and Failover Cluster.
• Experience in providing technical advice and guidance to colleagues.
• EXASOL experience is a plus.
