Job Description:

The Contributions Acquisition Team (CAT) is responsible for attaining, maintaining, and monitoring fund data through relationship building with asset managers, custodians, and fund administrators. Cataloguing fund data files received daily/monthly so that fund data is stored in our internal databases within 24hrs.  The team is also responsible for expanding fund data coverage and maintaining client requests related to CAT.  Join our team to develop the world’s most complete and accurate Global Fund dataset!  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Call and partner with global fund issuers, fund administrators, and custodians to arrange centralized and consistent feed;
  • Work with external fund data providers to align fund data and file format along with FactSet’s standard file format;
  • Analyze incoming files to ensure correct format and content;
  • Catalog content for all incoming files in FactSet database;
  • Communicate with various internal departments;
  • Monitor the consistency and timeliness of the deliveries to the CAT mailbox and/or FTP;
  • Handle and resolve internal and external client requests (“RPDs” and “workflow tasks”) related to CAT;
  • Map fields, formats and headers in files from asset managers;
  • Assist with technical set up and validation for FTP and email delivery processes.
  • Understand and support existing and new data types including holdings, NAVs, shares outstanding, distributions, metadata.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent English communication skills, spoken and written. Additional language skills are considered an asset;
  • Strong inter-personal and customer relations skills. This role requires proactive communication with asset managers, fund administrators, custodians, and partners; Communication is primarily via phone;
  • Outstanding communicator;
  • Strong organizational multitasking and prioritizing skills, focused, diligent and able to work effectively under tight deadlines;
  • Knowledgeable of financial data and calculations; Also familiar with research and quality assurance of raw data mapping, data testing and validation;
  • Proficient in Microsoft software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and FileZilla’s FTP;
  • Capable of working autonomously, in a team, and with external customers. 

Highly Desired:

  • Background in Mutual Funds or Exchange Traded Products data a plus
  • Project Management skills a plus
  • Knowledge of French, German, Spanish, Portuguese or any other additional language are a plus

Monthly salary (gross): 1300.00-1416.00 EUR

Additional information: The monthly salary is based on the candidate's experience and suitability for the role.
