My client is a global manufacturer based in South Yorkshire. Due to significant growth, they are looking to appoint a Marketing Analyst to help underpin their market and product strategy with real insight and to help identify opportunities for business growth.
The successful candidate will report directly into the Head of Marketing and be responsible for providing accurate insights and recommendations to optimise performance across their whole portfolio. The role will be responsible for (but not limited to) providing the following:-
• Market Segmentation and Analysis
• Market Modelling
• Product Mix Analysis
• Competitor analysis
• Profitability Analysis
• Customer grouping and identification
• Diagnosing the root causes for sales decline and offering recommendations for improvements
To be considered for this role, candidates must have worked in a similar role in the past, ideally working as part of a wider marketing team. You will be commercially astute, with an excellent understanding of product profitability.
You must have very strong Excel skills in order to manage and monitor the intelligence. Advanced spreadsheets and pivot tables will be how you manage your data day to day, so you must have advanced proficiency in this area.
You must have exceptional attention to detail and have the credibility to confidently present your recommendations to key stakeholders.
