Kopter Group AG specializes in the development, production, commercialization and support of a new generation of helicopters. It is based in the Zurich region and currently employs 250 people. Its first model, the single turbine SH09, offers the highest standards of safety, comfort and performance, coupled with low operating costs. Additionally, it provides the largest cabin/cargo volumes, outstanding modularity and the latest generation of electronic systems. Built for the most demanding missions, the SH09 helicopter is generating an excellent market response.
Reviewing existing documentation and amendment as required
Literature researching on current metal topics, e.g. contact corrosion, tribology
Coordination of test series (static/dynamic/corrosive) on metallic materials
Dimensioning and preparation of samples
Planning and organizing tests of functional coatings on metals
Evaluation and entry of material data in GrantaMI data bank
Study of aerospace engineering, materials science or mechanical engineering
Basic knowledge regarding the characterization of materials
Good knowledge of written and spoken English; German would be a plus
Proactive and independent thinking and acting
Very good organizational skills
High social competence and communication skills
Duration of internship: at least 6 months
