Overview of the team
The need for robust and accurate data has never been greater. As experts in data quality, the role of the Data Assurance and Improvement Team is to provide support to function across Guinness to improve and maintain the quality of data in our IT systems. The team work with data owners, IT and Business Change to understand the risks to data and undertake robust validation to improve and maintain the quality of the data through change projects. The team works collaboratively with other support functions to make required improvements to ultimately provide the best possible service for our customers.
Working across a whole range of systems and processes creates varied and interesting work for the team and provides the opportunity to build relationships across Guinness.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Improvement Analyst to join our team in Oldham on a 12 month fixed term basis within the Data Assurance and Improvement Team. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that is proud of the work they do to ensure that Guinness has robust and accurate data across its Asset Management and Customer Service systems. You’ll be an enthusiastic, friendly and motivated individual with a passion for working with others to get things right.
What we’re looking for
As a Data Improvement Analyst, you will report to the Data Improvement Manager alongside four other Data Improvement Analysts. You will have the skills to interrogate and analyse data to provide assurance over data changes and migrations across a range of systems. You will be able to confidently discuss and document data issues and findings. You will recommend corrective changes and improvements to processes and systems and provide insight from your assurance exercises to ensure that data quality is maintained.
