Senior Regulatory Specialist at Givaudan – Your future position? As a Senior Regulatory Specialist you will be involved in all aspects of the RAPS Customer Relations work for Japan clients Department and also Japan Chemical regulatory support. The role includes from reviewing product information, attending customer meetings to generating technical reports and declarations for clients, setting the overall regulatory compliance strategy for the Japan business and provide support to chemical regulatory team. This is a multi-skilled and varied role with the ideal candidate having excellent interpersonal skills to manage Japan customers and the ability to produce highly accurate written work. An enthusiastic and thorough approach is essential for this role with the ability to learn and absorb complex regulatory activities in a fast moving regulatory environment in Japan.Sound challenging? This role is essential to the good running of our business, and spans over four key areas of responsibility: Ensure regulatory compliance of the Japan L&R business and minimise the impact of changing regulations upon the business. Implement regulatory compliance strategy that is consistent with the business goals of Japan Work with the regional CR groups to ensure global regulatory surveillance for Japan and ensure regulatory changes are implemented in a timely manner to avoid business disruption Respond to regulatory compliance requests from internal and external clients and attend meetings with these clients as necessary Use Givaudan systems to complete tasks and manage data Interact with internal functional teams to support the RAPS activities Generate technical reports and declarations for internal and external clients Review all product information to ensure 100% accuracy and completeness before documents reach the customer. Work with and assist Managers/ Specialists as necessary Support the notifications and registration team for chemical regulation / submission needs for Japan / manage tonnage tracking, etc. You? Your professional profile includes: Minimum Master’s Degree in scientific or technical area Preferred exposure to Fragrance or Chemicals Industry ; Good regulatory knowledge of Japan chemical regulations, and/or other Japanese regulations, e.g. Quasi-drug, cosmetics, etc., Minimum 4 to 5 years experience in similar regulatory roles.
