In this position, you will become part of the Bunge Lecithin team, consisting of 6 colleagues and headed in Amsterdam. Working in the Bunge Lecithin team means ensuring the safe manufacturing of quality lecithin products (crude, standard, modified, de oiled and specialty) to serve Bunge’s customers. What will be your main goal as Junior QA Specialist? You will ensure the production of lecithin meets quality, certification standards and customer requirements. Main Accountabilities: Assist in the customer approval process by filling out ingredient questionnaires, sending out product samples and follow up, provide certification documents (i.e. Non-GMO, Kosher, etc) and ensure reliability of certification paperwork. Maintain, optimize and implement the quality and food safety management systems in line with legislative, customer, Cert-ID Non-GMO standard, Kosher standard, Halal standard, GMP+, ISO22000 and company requirements. Recording, analysing, reporting and distributing information on performance of the quality system. Monitoring performance and writing management- and technical reports. Assessing (customer) standard requirements and ensuring that these are met by performing internal audits. This includes specification management. Calculation of the recipes and organisation of production planning of BungeMaxx Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes. Writing and updating quality assurance procedures. Provide customer support in lecithin applications and development of new products; Responsible for release of product to customer needs Customer Service Scores Setting up new procedures, perform risk-based analyses, standards and instructions. Achieve quality assurance operational objectives by preparing and completing action plans, implementing changes in production and customer-service standards, identifying and resolving problems, determining system improvements. Your profile Bachelor level (or equivalent ability) in Food Technology, Chemistry or related. At least 2 years of experience in technical/quality related role in the food or pharma; industry. This experience may also result from internship positions during the study; Understanding and knowledge of quality management systems; Follow and understand EU rules and regulations and be able to implement them in systems; Accredited Internal Audit Qualification would be beneficial; Knowledge of environmental health & safety regulations; Fluency in English (both speaking & writing); Living in the Greater Amsterdam Region or willing to move there; Available to work fulltime; Your personality Strong communication skills (verbal, listening and writing).
